GNHI Mission
GNHI is one of the oldest research and teaching institutions in Georgia, the origin of which dates back to the end of the 18th century, specifically, to 1892, when for the first time, the Chemical Testing Laboratory for Food Safety and Quality control was established by the Georgian Government in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Out mission is to contribute to a broader understanding of root causes of human and animal diseases, and to their prevention globally. GNHI promotes its scientific research and its services in the food safety, sanitary, hygiene and medical ecology fields respectively via the development and subsequent execution of innovative ideas in biomedicine, and the applications of the state-of-the-art technologies of food and environmental testing.
